Japan will always have my heart.

so I have roughly 16 more days left in this country...and well 7 of those are in Cambodia and Vietnam, so I guess 9 days left in this beautiful country. I'm going to miss so much about Japan. Let me tell you first what i'll miss and then what i'm looking forward to finding at home. Just as a disclaimer, i'm not mentioning people i'll miss from here or people i'm looking forward to seeing when i get home. If you are reading this i'm probably either going to be missing you tons or am so pumped to see you soon. So, of course this is people aside.

Things i'll miss from Japan (in no particular order):
- being able to ride your bicycle anywhere and just the bicycle culture in general
- being able to wear anything you want because the fashion is weird
- custard pastries being sold everywhere
- fresh baked goods at the convenience stores
- amazing customer service
- the trains and subway
- how the trains and subways run so often and on such a tight schedule
- karaoke every sunday night with the salty fries and the people at KaraKaja being rude to us (the things i'll miss about karaoke are endles)
- the little dress socks
- hello kitty
- the japanese yen
- speaking japanese
- having an excuse for everything...being a gaijin
- my phone and emailing from it :(
- purikura (print club)
- Coco's curry house and the girl at the one at Tsuruhashi who knows my order off by heart
- day trips to see amazing new things everyweekend
- the stationery!!!
- Loft the store
- Japanese writing and sounding out signs
- meeting new people who are gaijin just because they're not Japanese
- going out in Namba until 5:30 am
- the convenience of living in the middle of the city
- the shopping at Shinsaibashi
- the sheer convenience of the convenience stores...faxing, buying concert tickets, alcohol
- chu hi and it's cheapness
- hi chu
- Lawson's
- The Emporium at OCAT
- Free Japanese classes with Naru-san
- Getting to know people so easily in class, just meeting new people all the time
- Of course my students, but especially the kids i love teaching
- Okonomiyaki (and going to the place in Nara)
- the smell of yaki-niku and piss when getting off the train in my dirty dirty station
- the deer in Nara!


I think there's more, well i'm sure there is...but i'll have to continue later... and also with the other list at another time. :)
