Of course we wanted to see the Peace Park and A-Bomb Dome in Hiroshima. Both are symbols of such tragedy and loss for the Japanese, and all of humankind. This is us at the A-Bomb Dome. It was directly over this building where the bomb was dropped on August 6th 1945. The first atomic bomb used against humankind. After seeing this, we bravely went on to the Peace Park which includes a few sights, including the Peace Museum. We spent a good 2 and a half hours in the peace museum, learning all about the war and it's effects. What an eye-opening experience.
