So against all odds...something spectacular has happened.
The other night I get an email on my phone from my good friend Cathy. She says that Sasha was impounded and that she's been returned to the house she was registered at!!!!!!!!!
I was so confused but elated.
It's quite a strange story becuase Cathy's roommate who i've met maybe once apparently knew that I bought Sasha from this girl who went home a while ago...and her friend was saying that this bike that her friend (the girl i bought the bike off of) was returned to her house and they don't know who the owner is. And so Cathy's roommate told Cathy who told me. HOW BIZARRE.
Anyway, apparently the Koban (Police) found Sasha or something and realized she was stolen and returned her to her 'rightful' owner. How amazing is that!!! With thousands and thousands of bikes in Osaka...I never thought I had a prayer in finding her.
Japan. Always on top of things.
I'm going to miss this country.
