So last week, on March 25th 2007, there was an earthquake in Japan. It measured a whopping 6.9 on the Richter Scale. It mainly hit Ishikawa, Toyama, and Niigata prefectures which are on the main island, but in the North region.
My friend Mike said he felt it, and his girlfriend felt it too. They live in Nara. My roommate felt it because she was at work in like a 17 story building and the building was shaking. I was home at the time, getting ready for work, and didn't feel a thing. I'm slightly sad about that because it would be cool to experience a slight earthquake, but of course i'm not actually disappointed.
