This is Kyomizu Temple in Kyoto. I went there with my friend Mark a few weeks ago. It's one of the most beautiful temples i've been to. It's been nominated as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We were very blessed to be there on such a goregous spring day.

I saw a Maiko (a Geisha in training) on the street and Mark asked her if I could get a photo because I was too shy. Pretty cool though.
This is Kinkakuji - The Golden Temple. I don't really feel it's a temple though becuase you can't go in it or do any regular temple things in it. It's just a tourist spot becuase it's gold. It's cool to see but then just seems superficial in some ways...

I wish SOOO much that I could visit and we could be geishas for a day.
Perhaps in a few years you and I could take a week or two and go back to visit. You could show me all of your favourite spots?
