Today I was studying during one of my free lessons. Yes, that's right, going over a list of English Literary Terms in order to hopefully better assess my students and where they need help.
I came across the coolest thing. It's called Schwa.
Schwa - The name given to the most common vowel sound in English. It's 'ah'... like what you say when you go to the doctors and he depresses your tongue.
How cool! To name a sound!! I just love it.
